Eddie Hester
Drums/Percussion
As an adolescent, Eddie Hester developed an early passion for playing and creating music. A member of his high school jazz band, he began his musical career on bass outside of school with numerous local bands throughout the Yuma, Arizona community, including his first band, The Clits (4-years). Eddie has also filled in on bass for The Last Gang.
Although Eddie still enjoys jamming on bass, his true dedication is in his drumming and percussion.
Influenced by Jamaican Ska and Two-Tone, Eddie provides a responsive, full sound without overpowering any other members in the band. What he lacks in excessive hardware, he makes up for in dynamic work and the ability to fill in sound on his Porkpie Percussion Set.
Eddie has been playing drums for over 10-years with bands in Southern California and Arizona including, Krooktone Classics and EPIC XVIII; filled in behind the throne for artist Malik “The Freq” Moore (CA) and La Tomasa Ska Band (Mexico). As a drummer, he has shared the stage with several large acts including The Aggrolites, Afroman, and Bar Stool Preachers. In, 2018 he embarked on a 4-day tour with Krooktone Classics on the “Final” Vans’ Warped Tour on the “Lieshow Tent."
